Born from a family's need
Compassionate Transport began with a very personal experience. After our youngest son was severely injured in a motorcycle accident, we faced significant challenges with medical transportation from our home in Glorieta, New Mexico. Over 50% of the transport vans we booked for his frequent doctor and physical therapy appointments simply didn't show up. We realized this "no-show" problem was common for many in rural areas.
This challenge led us to purchase our own wheelchair-accessible van for our son. It also sparked an idea: we could help others facing similar difficulties. That's how Compassionate Transport was born, with the mission to provide reliable and caring transportation for our community.
Our family, our promise
Compassionate Transport is a family-owned and operated business, founded by Eileen and Fred. Our son, Skylar, will also be involved when he is able. We understand the importance of dependable transportation, which is why our first vehicle is a 2026 Toyota Sienna Hybrid van, capable of safely transporting two wheelchairs or scooters.
Our promise to you is simple yet profound: if we accept a ride, we will complete the ride. You will never experience a "no-show" from Compassionate Transport. This commitment stems from our own experiences and our deep desire to serve our community with integrity and compassion.
